DAY 2: FULL DAY PUERTO AYORA

Our day begins at 8 am with a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station, an iconic place in the Galapagos, the same one that receives dozens of scientists from all over the world throughout the year.
The Charles Darwin Research Station is a place where we can learn a little about the formation process of the islands and the chain of adaptive processes that species have undergone over time, as well as the opportunity to buy souvenirs, which contribute to the funding new scientific research.

The second point to visit is the place known as “Las Grietas”. This place is the clear example of the formation process of the islands, product of the volcanic eruptions that have been occurring for thousands of years.

Las Grietas is a beautiful place where we can practice activities such as snorkeling and swimming.

To end the morning we will visit the “Los Alemanes” beach, which is an ideal place to rest and for children to play safely and confidently since its turquoise and shallow waters.

The return is scheduled for 1 pm to go to the restaurant** where we will be served lunch*

*The menu will be previously selected by the passenger so that it meets the gastronomic requirements of the passenger. For this, the letter will be sent via email for the selection of the menu. **Previous passenger selection.

DAY 3: ISABELA Island – Los Túneles Tour

Between 6 am – 6:20 am a vehicle will pick you up that will take you to the main pier “Gus Angermeyer” where the boat that will take you to Isabela Island awaits you. This trip begins at 7 am, which is why they must be at the dock 30 minutes before to carry out the respective controls and records. The trip takes approximately 2 hours.

Upon arrival at Isabela Island, a vehicle will pick you up at the selected hotel, which will take you to the boat that will provide the tour to “Los Túneles”.

The tour to Cabo Rosa, better known as “Los Túneles” on Isabela Island, lasts approximately 1 hour and a half to 2 hours. Once in this sector, the boat will go through the different paths through the tunnels where you can clearly see the landscape that is the highlight of this site.

The tour begins at approximately 11:30 AM in which we first head to Roca Unión, a small islet located in the open sea where you can see Pelicans, Nazca Boobies and Blue Footed Boobies and one or another sea lion resting on the rocks. After this short stop, you navigate for approximately 45 minutes to reach one of the most beautiful landscapes of rocky lava formations in the Galapagos Islands, it is called “Los Tunnels” since in ancient eruptions, the lava passed under the earth formed tunnels that later collapsed and gave rise to these arches over the water where you can clearly see vegetation coming out of the rocks, the crystal clear water, the sea lions fluttering.

Later, we moved to the site known as Finados to snorkel with sea turtles, “Tintoreras” sharks, golden rays, eagle rays, seahorses, fish such as Surgeons, Damicelas,. The tour includes a light box lunch on the boat after having completed the two activities, after lunch we prepare to return to Isabela at about 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
